About UsCari Hughes, the owner of Four Paw Spa, has been professionally grooming cats and dogs for over 15 years. She completed training at the Classy Canine grooming school in 1995. She was a grooming manager at Petco for over 10 years. During that time she was involved in training associates to become pet stylists. Cari left that position because she wanted to spend more one on one time with the cats and dogs and provide them with a more pleasant grooming environment. Four Paw Spa Mobile Pet Grooming opened in 2008. Over time, she has discovered that pets really do prefer mobile grooming as opposed to salon grooming. The pets are happier and more relaxed with mobile grooming - close to home and away from barking dogs. Cari chose a pet grooming career because of her love for animals and desire to care for them. Cari is a member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America. In addition to her professional pet grooming experience, Cari has a BA in Animal Physiology from UCSD.
